Kinematic: A Robot Arm That Tells the Time.
A two-link arm on your wrist: the upper arm is the hour hand and the forearm is the minute hand. Built natively on Google's declarative Watch Face Format for modern Wear OS smartwatches.
Kinematic
Two links, two joints, one clock. Line the links up and the arm reaches a kinematic singularity, so the joint readout gives way to a red warning. Pick a pose, or drive the joints yourself:
- Hour & Minute LinksThe upper arm swings from the shoulder as the hour hand, and the forearm swings from the elbow as the minute hand.
- Singularity WarningA red warning replaces the
J1andJ2joint readout whenever the links are within 4° of stretched out or folded back. - Tap the GripperThe jaws open and close on a tap. Tap the gripper itself, or change the setting to tap anywhere on the face. Try it on the face.
- TelemetryDate, live Heart Rate and daily Steps, with a PWR status light for battery: green from 50%, amber from 20%, red below. Tap Heart or Steps to open their health screens.
- Tilt ParallaxOn the watch, the floor grid shifts as you tilt your wrist. On by default, and you can turn it off in Customize.
- Always-On DisplayA wireframe arm and the dimmed time, on pure black.
